Job Title Assistant Rigger

What you’ll be doing A team player, reporting to the Rigging Services Supervisor and will be tasked with working with the Artisan Rigger, together providing a rigging service to the refinery in order to facilitate the removal and installation of equipment.
Exciting challenges you might face in the role Rigging service provided safely and Timeously to Refinery
Ensure compliance to OSHACT and recommended codes of practice
Support Refinery Maintenance and Operations

Identify different slings, rigging equipment and assist with small rigging jobs.
Repairs and servicing of rigging equipment.
Able to carry out routine inspections of JLG.
Carry out routine safety inspections on cranes.

PSV Rigging Service Provision
Complete work right first time in accordance with schedule
Ensure compliance to safety plans/permit to work and total safety task instruction
Workflow Processes Compliance

What you’ll have done before Education Requirements:

Matric/Grade 12
NQF Level 4/
Minimum Qualification 2: Certified to operate Rigging equipment used on
site. (Overhead Gantry, Carrydeck & Hiab forklift bob

Experience Requirements:
2 years Experience in Rigging Maintenance field
